Please Google Bulova 91910 and Bulova 91904. I see Italy as being a hub for these Bulova Submariner homage watches. They come as full set as well. I cannot authenticate. Please reply with your thoughts.
Hi James! I apologize for not seeing these till now - quite the busy end of the year and I took a little time away from writing. I've seen these as well and feel quite iffy about them; when I was in contact with Bulova/Citizen trying to track down more info on the Oceanographer I wrote about, they were very candid with me about how a) they don't have a good/consistent archive, b) cannot always authenticate or inauthenticate a given watch, and c) often see references pop up that may seem real, and have real Bulova attributes and even branding, but aren't quite hitting the mark. The Bulovas you mention here look slightly off, and if you google the same watch with "CAPITAL" after it, you'll see those Bulova-like cases with CAPITAL on the dial instead. I would avoid these!
Thanks for reading and for your comment! We’re all weird here in the watch space and we love seeing a good old Bulova out and about - plus, last I counted, I’ve only ever seen one Oceanographer in the wild, compared to thousands of Subs. I think you’re doing just fine ☺️
I have chased down both watches AND owners of watches and it one of the most rewarding aspects of this hobby! Well done! And Super Oceanographer!
Thanks Mike! I agree - definitely rewarding ☺️
Hi Mike,
Really enjoyed this article as I love Bulova and would love to own this piece, it’s on my list 😀
What a movement 👌👌👌
Thank you Heath! Happy to send it over for some write time, this thing's a world traveler :)

They can also be found on Chrono24 if you search Bulova Sub.
